Balham Gateway Club

We're a social club for adults with learning disabilities who live in Wandsworth!

Run by volunteers, our club meets on Monday evenings from 6:30pm at a local school hall (except during school holidays). We offer a fun, relaxed, safe environment for members to socialise with friends, learn new skills and experience new opportunities.

We play board games, build jigsaws, make pictures, try our skills at the ping pong table. We chat over a cup of tea. In the summer, we're off to the seaside, and in the winter, cheering and booing at the panto.

There is no cost for the club nights, and some fees for special events.

We have policies and risk assessments to protect our members and volunteers. As of autumn 2021 we have a COVID-19 policy, which explains how we are helping keep everyone safe, for example with all required to confirm they feel well, sanitise their hands, and (where appropriate) wear a face covering.
